Warning that Manx Care could become 'ungovernable'
The health and social care minister will be asked to answer questions today (16 June) about inpatient capacity at Noble’s Hospital.
It follows the publication of a rapid review which found ‘deep rooted behavioural and cultural issues’ were ‘distracting’ from delivering ‘responsive and efficient’ services.
In Tynwald Claire Christian will be asked about the status of the, now published, review and to make a statement.
The report, commissioned by the Department of Health and Social Care in May, also warned that Manx Care could become ‘ungovernable’.
You can read the full report HERE.
Manx Radio invited Minister Christian to be interviewed following the publication of the report on Monday (15 June).
She declined saying she won't give interviews before the Tynwald sitting.
Manx Care is yet to respond to the same request.
The June sitting of Tynwald starts at 10am - you can listen HERE.
