Staff urged to maintain effective hygiene
Health workers are being told to commit to reducing infection risks in hospitals and the wider community.
A new policy to improve safety, named ANTT (Aseptic Non Touch Technique), has been adopted by the Department of Health and Social Care.
It's aimed at minimising outbreaks of illness through a standardised hygiene routine.
