Route closed in February due to rotten trees
The decision to reopen the lower footpath at Dhoon Glen is being welcomed by Garff Commissioners.
The Department of Environment had planned to close it permanently, due to rotting trees, but it will be back in use by spring.
It was closed in February, with fencing erected to block people from the path, and a diverted trail was created.
The local authority says it's had confirmation works will be carried out over winter - something commissioner Marinda Fargher says is good news:
