Chief hopes for "can do" attitude

The Island's two new MHKs have been given responsibilities in government departments.

Just over a month after being elected, Peel member Ray Harmer has joined the departments of infrastructure and health and social care.

Glenfaba MHK Geoffrey Boot has been recruited to work in Economic Development and the environment department.

Chief Minister Allan Bell says having department members with a ‘can-do’ attitude can be invaluable.
