Rushen MHK says Tynwald should expect consultation
Rushen MHK Juan Watterson claims the Department of Infrastructure has gone against the will of Tynwald.
The criticism followed comments made by Treasury Minister David Ashford, who said the previous DOI minister had told Tynwald he would delay work scheduled to complete the length of the Horse Tram to the Sea Terminal, until a later date.
Mr Watterson said the DOI telling Tynwald they were spending money allocated to them elsewhere, was not the same as 'asking permission' to do so:
