The demolition of the former Castletown Golf Links Hotel will start next week.
The Department of Infrastructure says there'll be a closure along the length of Fort Island Road from 6am on Monday (2 February) until 6pm on 2 March.
The site was sold by Dandara to Manx BirdLife and Langness Golf Course Ltd last year.
The former hotel sits within a bird sanctuary on Langness and is surrounded by the Area of Special Scientific Interest.
It's been closed since 2007, and has been left to ruin when plans for regeneration never came to fruition.
