Arrival into Heysham held up by two hours and further disruption throughout the afternoon
UPDATED 20:30:
The Manxman’s arrival into Douglas this evening has been delayed until approximately 23:00 due to the high winds.
Her return overnight sailing to Heysham has been cancelled.
EARLIER:
The Steam Packet sailing from Douglas was due to arrive into the Lancashire port at 12:20pm, however isn't now due to berth until 2:30pm.
It's understood passengers on board have been told it's due to tidal conditions at Heysham.
The knock-on effect is that the departure back to the Island has been postponed until 4pm.
Manxman is due to arrive into Douglas for 7:45pm - it's not known yet whether this will impact the departure time of the evening sailing, due to leave at 7:45pm.
