Delay to racing on final day of TT

Mist and fog cause problems for helicopter

There's been a one hour delay to the action on the final day of TT 2016.

Roads around the course closed on time at 9.30am ahead of racing.

However, coastal fog and mist has been slow to clear leading to problems for the medivac helicopter.

A 30 minute delay was announced around 9.40am, but this was extended by another 30 minutes a short time later.

The new schedule means the 3 lap Sure Sidecar Race 2 will now start at 11.15 . . with the Mark Higgins Subaru timed lap at 12.45 and a 1.45 start for the six lap Pokerstars Senior TT.
