Barber says government must listen to farmers' concerns
It's vital that government creates a regulatory landscape to support our Island's farmers.
That's from Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Clare Barber, who says her department needs to continue to listen and respond to farmers' concerns.
Speaking to Manx Radio at the Royal Manx Agricultural Show, Mrs Barber said people underestimate the amount of work that goes into farming to make the career a viable option:
'Lessons need to be learned' from CEO role within Manx Care
Procedures at Noble's Hospital cancelled due to 'significant pressures'
Medical Society calls for 'statutory elected body' as chief exec exits Manx Care
