Minister thinks DEFA has found a solution
The announcement of a new preferred site for a sewerage treatment facility in the west of the Island looks as though it could have finally solved the problem.
This follows the rejection of a proposed site next to Peel Power station, and reluctance to house one at Knockaloe over concerns about historical integrity.
MHKs say it's about time the attitude of 'flush and forget', or pumping raw sewage into the sea, came to an end.
And Geoffrey Boot thinks the property in question, on the road into Peel from the South, could be the answer:
