The Department of Education and Children is looking at ways it can handle a £4.1million budget reduction.
Announced in the budget this week, the department's budget has been reduced to £90.2million for the 2014/15 year.
Manx Sport and Recreation, regional swimming pools and the Isle of Man Arts Council will soon be transferred into the DEC, whilst other areas have been moved elsewhere.
