Final chance to submit comments
Today (Friday) is the final chance to submit evidence to a newly formed committee investigating the failed TT Vision Nine deal.
An outline agreement between the chosen promoter and the Department of Economic Development was scrapped in November – six months after it had been approved by Tynwald.
The parliament's economic policy review committee is investigating the issue in three phases.
The committee, chaired by MLC Michael Coleman and comprising MHKs Tim Baker and Jason Moorhouse, says the first phase will look at the period immediately up to the decision to outsource the TT and Classic TT.
The second part of its investigation will consider the period until tender documents were published.
And the final phase will try and assess what then happened before November’s announcement that the deal had collapsed.
If you have comments, they should be sent to Legislative Buildings by midday today.
