Public consultation on Animal Welfare Bill closes today
Feedback on proposed new laws to prevent animal cruelty must be submitted by the end of today.
It's the final day for submissions to the public consultation on the Animal Welfare Bill.
The document has been welcomed by a number of local animal groups.
The proposals would give more protection to animals like cats, dogs and horses, as well as mountain hares and livestock.
An online questionnaire can be found at the government's consultation hub, while responses can also be sent to consultation.defa@gov.im
