Closing date is 2 January for some businesses
The deadline for the submission of corporate income tax returns is fast approaching for companies with a 31 December year end.
Businesses that fail to submit their returns by midnight on 2 January could be liable to a £250 penalty.
The official due date is 1 January, but as the Income Tax Division is closed on that date, fully completed forms will not be considered overdue if submitted a day later.
Income Tax Division telephone lines and public counters will be open over the Christmas period.
