36-member body to advise government
Anyone interested in becoming a member of a climate change-focused citizens' forum must apply by the end of the week (11 Oct).
Government wants 12 people to join so they can share their views on the issue, and influence the Island's response to the 'global emergency'.
The 36-member forum will be made up of the twelve successful applicants, with the remaining 24 people invited to join or chosen at random from the electoral register.
Once formed, it will hear from academics, researchers and campaigners before sharing views with the government board tasked with taking climate action.
