Public warned to stay away
A dead basking shark has been washed up on Kirk Michael beach.
The 7.5 metre long male shark is badly decomposed and members of the of the public are being warned to stay away from the carcass as it may pose a serious health hazard.
It's due to be removed from the beach soon.
