Schools and government offices to be closed on 19 September
The day of the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Our Lord of Mann, will be a bank holiday on the Isle of Man.
The Manx government has confirmed schools and government offices will be closed on 19 September.
Essential public services will continue to operate.
The announcement comes after His Majesty King Charles III confirmed there would be a bank holiday across the UK on the day of the service.
Her Majesty's state funeral will take place at Westminster Abbey.
The government says the holiday will allow individuals and organisations to commemorate the Queen's reign, following her death of the age of 96 on Thursday.
