Warning ahead of Keys vote
A former member of Legislative Council has warned against removing anything from LegCo's powers that might diminish the body.
Keys members will today (Tuesday Dec 19th) vote on an amendment to a Bill to give themselves alone, and not LegCo members sitting as part of Tynwald, the say on who will be chief minister.
David Callister served one term in LegCo, saying he wanted to bring about change.
That was something he was unable to achieve.
