One in 50 suffer from seasonal disorder
As the cold, dark winter days close in around one in 50 people are affected by a condition known as SAD - or Seasonal Affective Disorder.
Sometimes known as winter depression SAD comes and goes in a seasonal pattern.
Symptoms - including persistent low mood, feelings of despair, and lethargy - can be severe and have a significant impact on the sufferer's day to day activities.
