A series of tests and analyses has been undertaken
Repair work on damaged tiles in the National Sports Centre swimming pool will only commence once the root cause has been identified.
That's according to Education, Sport and Culture Minister Daphne Caine.
In the House of Keys, Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse questioned her about a report from November 2023, which led to the closure of two lanes in the deep end for safety reasons.
She said a series of tests and analyses had been carried out, and she was concerned that repairing the tiles without identifying the underlying issue could result in the problem recurring:
