Nine-year-old 'likes making people happy' and 'being helpful'
This Saturday (13 July) kids from all across the Isle of Man will be heading to St John's to take part in this year's Mini Parish Walk.
They'll be walking between one kilometre and 2.5 kilometres around the Arboretum - depending on their age group.
One of those taking part is nine-year-old Daisy Harrison in her third time around the course.
In previous years, she's raised money for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation and Diabetes Isle of Man.
This year, she's raising funds for Andreas-based non-profit animal sanctuary, Greenhills Sanctuary IOM.
Our Chanelle spoke to Daisy and mum Catherine ahead of tomorrow's big race to find out more about the charity, and why she's chosen to support them:
If you'd like to sponsor Daisy, contact mum Catherine via message on Facebook or by email: catty_harrison@icloud.com.
Or you can send sponsorship directly via PayPal to Greenhillssanctuaryiom@gmail.com.
