The future of Douglas and Ramsey's Crown Post Offices is set to be discussed this week.
A few days before government's final decision is due to be made, Communication Workers' Union Assistant Secretary Terry Pullinger is due to meet Allan Bell.
The union has put forward its own suggestions for how the Crown Offices can be saved, instead of moving their services into local Spar stores.
Mr Pullinger says there are some key points he wants to put across to the Chief Minister:
Renal patients 'near breaking point' over lack of dialysis facilities in the north
Public Health to expand 'stop nicotine' services and accept referrals from children
Kewaigue Hill closure comes into force this morning
Concern over sharp decline in Atlantic Salmon numbers
