Isle of Man Energy says it's working through 'backlog' of problems
Isle of Man Energy says it believes issues with its new billing system have been fixed despite concerns being highlighted by customers.
The company – formally known as Manx Gas – has told Manx Radio its team is dealing with a backlog of problems.
Issues were first highlighted in December.
Customers have been posting complaints on social media claiming that they’ve had money removed from their accounts despite not receiving a bill.
One says he received an incorrect bill for an actual meter reading despite him being off the Island when it was said to have been taken.
Isle of Man Energy says it understands the frustration and worry customers are facing after errors but is promising that additional payments, erroneously taken, will be rectified.
