Hurtigruten says it aims to leave a "footprint that [it's] proud of"
The Manx coastal cleaning charity is joining forces with cruise ship visitors next month - tackling the litter in the south of the Island.
Hundreds of passengers on Hurtigruten sailings have signed up to two different events with Beach Buddies, organised alongside Cruise Isle of Man.
It's believed to be a world first for cruise ship passengers.
Hurtigruten is said to sail to some of the most "environmentally sensitive areas in the world" and says its "acutely aware of its responsibility to protect these destinations for the local communities and future generations of explorers."
The events are taking place on 2 and 11 March.
