Eight ships to visit Island for the first time this year
Another cruise ship completed its maiden voyage into Manx waters this week, as Exploris One visited the capital yesterday (19 May).
The French liner had 144 passengers and 102 crew members on board.
It was 'specially designed to sail the most demanding waters of the world, in particular those of the polar regions' and is 'equipped with a reinforced hull'.

According to the latest figures from Visit Isle of Man, this cruise season will see 55 port visits by 33 different ships - eight of which will be making their first trip to the Island.
Monday's visit was the first for Exploris One, and as such a special plaque was presented to the captain by Tynwald's political member for the Department for Enterprise with delegation for the Visit IOM agency, Sarah Maltby.
