Ministers from Jersey, Guernsey and IoM give evidence to House of Commons committee
The UK wasn't able to effectively represent the Crown Dependencies' views in post-Brexit trade talks.
That's from Guernsey's Minister of External Relations Jonathan Le Tocq, who's been giving evidence to a House of Commons committee on the UK government's relationship with Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.
The three jurisdictions were left out of the services chapter of the trade agreement with Asian and Pacific countries, following what Mr Le Tocq described as "a stall" in negotiations.
Having not been part of the negotiations directly, Mr Le Tocq says the Crown Dependencies were unclear over the reason for the stall:
