UK tour begins at Cambridge Folk Festival
Local harpist Mera Royle is gearing up to play in front of the biggest audience of her life at the Cambridge Folk Festival today (Sun 5).
Mera won the award of Young Musician of the Year at the 2018 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, held in April.
With the support of long-time friends Ray Dolloso and Owen Williams, Mera is embarking on something of a UK tour in the coming weeks.
She told Manx Radio the trio are very much looking forward to the experience.
They're on stage two from 1:55pm today, and at the Den stage from 5:45.
