Industrial action currently due to begin this coming weekend
The Department of Infrastructure says it had believed industrial action by bus drivers would not proceed while further talks were ongoing.
However, Minister Tim Crookall says strike action is now due to begin on Saturday (21 February), despite what he describes as an agreement between the union and the department.
He says both pay offers submitted by the DOI have been rejected.
Mr Crookall adds that last-minute discussions are still taking place, but contingency plans will be implemented if necessary:
