Too early to determine cost, says Crookall
The chair of Manx Utilities says he can’t put a price tag on new plans to deliver onshore renewable energy.
Tim Crookall’s authority wants to build a 20-megawatt windfarm and achieve 10 megawatts of solar power by 2026.
Two sites have been identified as potentially suitable for a windfarm, whilst we could see solar panels installed on publicly owned buildings.
Several sites have been identified, as Siobhan Fletcher explains:
Person dies following road traffic collision at Hillberry
Contractors to start installing 20mph signs in Douglas and Onchan
Accessible bus stops rolled out across Bus Vannin network
