The infrastructure minister says it was Crogga’s decision not to proceed with its plans to extract gas from the Island’s seabed.
Michelle Haywood has been responding to the company’s announcement that it will not be going ahead with the project.
Crogga’s licence expired on Friday after it failed to agree an extension with the Department of Infrastructure.
Dr Haywood says the company should have been conducting a seismic survey in 2019:
