Company searching for gas off Maughold coast
The chief executive of the company exploring for gas in Manx waters believes it will have political support throughout its expedition.
Crogga is looking for natural gas, in a field reportedly off the coast of Maughold, with plans to dig an exploratory well into the site later this year.
It's previously been described as a 'backwards step' in the transition towards greener energy.
Richard Hubbard was asked whether the fossil fuel project fits in with government's plan to steer towards renewables:
