Cannan wants people to focus on creating 5,000 new jobs
People who are critical of government’s plan to increase the population to 100,000 are ‘missing the point’ of the Economic Strategy.
That’s the view of the chief minister who says critics should focus on the plan to create 5,000 new jobs instead.
In Tynwald this week some politicians questioned the drive to promote migration when existing services are already under pressure.
But Alfred Cannan told Manx Radio he wants to ‘change the emphasis’ of the ongoing conversation:
