MHK explains why he voted against this year's budget
One of the MHKs who voted against this year's Budget says projects to improve schools in Douglas should be treated with the same level of priority as replacing Castle Rushen High School.
Douglas Central member Chris Thomas voiced concerns in yesterday's debate that schools in need in the Island's capital were being overlooked in favour of the southern secondary school.
The former infrastructure minister was one of six members who voted against Alex Allinson's spending plan.
He told Manx Radio why he felt he couldn't support the budget:
