Young person caught stranded at night
Emergency services were called out last night (Fri 11) to rescue a young person stranded in the west of the Island.
The incident happened at Whitestrand Beach at around 9pm, where the casulty was disoriented after being caught out by the quickly failing light while fishing from the rocks without a torch.
Crews located the youth and checked they were okay before escorting them home.
