MHK says £5 million for Castletown return exaggerated
The home affairs minister has accused Manx National Heritage of attempting to 'scupper' a Tynwald debate on the 'Peggy'.
Members discussed the 18th century schooner in this month's parliamentary sitting.
It's after MNH had claimed it would cost 'north of £5 million' to return the Peggy to her home in the ancient capital.
She was removed for conservation work in 2015.
