Chris Sharpe's work acclaimed for level of detail
A man who's dedicated the last 25 years to the study of bird life on the Isle of Man has been awarded an MBE.
Chris Sharpe was included on the Queen's Honours list for creating the Manx Bird Atlas, a charity which became Manx Birdlife.
It published the first ornithological atlas of species here, which was acclaimed for its level of scientific detail.
Mr Sharpe says the studies took them to some breathtaking places:
Examination process into Mooir Vannin proposals closes today
Campaigner's bold new idea to solve housing crisis
Young adults invited to question General Election candidates
Theatre company to stage additional show for Manx students
