Headteacher encourages kids to explore the wilderness
Primary school pupils have been getting back to nature in a series of lessons in the wilderness.
Children in Years 5 & 6 at Ballasalla School have been taking part in Forest School at Silverdale, a programme developed by the Isle of Man Children's Centre.
The eight-week course has seen them learning to explore, build and stay safe through endeavour - skills which are hoped to be transferrable in wider education.
