Landmark moment for Manx charity as bookings open for next round of screenings
Manx charity Craig's Heartstrong Foundation has marked a huge milestone, installing its 600th defibrillator on the Island.
The organisation was founded 20 years ago following the death of 25-year-old footballer Craig Lunt due to a previously undiagnosed heart defect.
The new landmark machine is located on the H&B brewery building.
Charity chairman Paul Healey says: "[This machine] may be vital to the offices and factory in the premises.
"We have worked closely with Okells Brewery over the last year and hope to do some more work together soon.
"Every one of the Craig's Heartstrong Foundation committee are so proud to have been able to supply the machines on the Island since 2012 and with your continued support we hope to put many more life saving machines out there.
"Thanks to Ollie Neale and Donna Brown for their help with this one."
