Visits suspended until further notice
An outbreak of Covid-19 has been confirmed at the Isle of Man Prison.
Officials say cases have been identified in the A & B Wings - as a result both sections are now operating under the 'black' regime.
This means inmates in those sections are limited in the amount of time they spend out of their cells.
Meanwhile, visits to the Jurby facility have now been suspended until further notice.
Access to legal services is being maintained through closed visits or video links.
In a statement, government adds the prison is working with Infection Prevention and Control to manage the situation.
