Treasury minister gives figure during Tynwald debate
Government says cost of covering Covid tests for returning residents would amount to £420,000 a month.
The treasury minister provided the sum during a Tynwald debate on whether the swabs should be means tested.
Alfred Cannan says in November and December the average number of people moving through the Island's ports was around 700 a week.
