38-year-old will be committed to higher court in October
An Onchan man has appeared in court accused of making threats to kill.
Christopher Robert Franklin, of Bemahague Avenue, has been charged with sending Facebook messages threatening to harm another man.
The 38-year-old allegedly said he would kill him, ‘cook dinner with him’ and pour boiling liquid ‘over his head’; the offences were allegedly committed on 17 July and 13 August.
Committal proceedings, where the case is elevated to the Court of General Gaol Delivery, will take place on 15 October; bail was granted until that date.
Update: Mr Franklin is next due to appear before the Court of General Delivery on 21 March.
