Nursing lead discusses problems caused by shortages
Manx Care's Director of Nursing says the hospital is aware of it's shortcomings when it comes to staffing - but assures the management are 'on top of things'.
Paul Moore's comments follow the publication of data from last year which showed nursing levels in the emergency department often fell below safe standards.
He says a lack of staff can cause logistical problems - for the hospital and patients alike.
But, he says Manx Care has 'counter measures' in place to deal with these staffing challenges:
