
Douglas Borough Council believes people are reaching the end of their tether when it comes to road closures for motorbike races.
Organisers of the 2014 Festival of Motorcycling announced this week there will be an extra two and a half hours of closed-roads practice ahead of the first race, on Saturday August 23.
Leader of the Douglas council, David Christian, says they told organisers they would prefer to have the road closure on the Thursday, rather than at the weekend.
