
Something desperately needs to be done with the Summerland site.
That's the message from the leader of Douglas Council, David Christian.
He's spoken in the wake of Friday's ceremony to mark the 40th anniversary of the Summerland disaster and the unveiling of a monument to remember the fifty people who lost their lives in the fire.
Mr Christian outlines what he thinks should be built on the currently derelict land:
