Council leader becomes third candidate for Douglas Central

Devon Watson intends to stand in September's General Election

A Douglas councillor has become the third candidate to declare for Douglas Central in September's General Election.

Devon Watson is leader of Douglas City Council and is standing as a member of the Manx Labour Party.

He says his main priority is to tackle cost of living issues. 

Also standing in the constituency are Peter Shimmin and Chris Thomas.

The General Election will take place on Thursday, 24 September.
