Council awaits Willaston funding

Douglas Borough Council is awaiting Treasury approval for a £17million project to renovate the Willaston estate.

It follows a successful pilot scheme to eradicate damp issues within the public sector houses.

It's hoped 215 properties will recieve the external refurbishment over a five-year period.
