Could Henry Bloom Noble Library be rebranded?

Douglas Council expected to discuss the proposal this week

The Henry Bloom Noble Library could be renamed Douglas City Library, pending approval from Douglas City Council.

The Regeneration and Community Committee has recommended the change, with new signage expected to cost between £7,470 and £9,155.

Of this, £6,000 would come from income services and property maintenance funds, while the library would cover the remaining amount.

Councillors will discuss the proposal in their meeting on 14 August, where they will decide whether to move forward with or reject the rebranding.
