Dandara company submits plans
A multimillion pound hotel, spa and apartment complex could be built on the site of the old Castletown Golf Links Hotel.
Fort Island Developments Ltd, part of the developer Dandara Group, has submitted plans which would see the former golf links hotel demolished.
It would incorporate a boutique hotel with 40 luxury bedrooms, an indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna and treatment rooms.
The developer says more than 30 jobs would be created and, if plans are approved, more than 100 people would be employed during construction.
The Castletown Golf Links Hotel closed in 2007.
