Commissioners exploring the idea
Castletown is exploring the possibility of earning World Heritage Site status.
The ancient capital of the Isle of Man has Castle Rushen, the Old House of Keys, the Old Grammar School and the Nautical Museum at its heart.
The idea, which is in its early stages, is the brainchild of Chairman of Castletown Commissioners Colin Leather.
Mr Leather says the town has a good case:
