The cost of submitting planning applications and lodging planning appeals will increase from next month.
That's after Tynwald approved a rise of five per cent, which will come into effect on August 1.
Costs are calculated on a scale depending on the complexity of the development.
The cost of submitting an appeal will increase from £150 to £165.
Environment Minister Richard Ronan said he believed the overall cost still represented 'good value for money' and would help the department towards meetings its budgetary targets.
A move to adjourn the debate and take a fresh look at the proposals was defeated.
